The following information is provided by Ponca City police.

Jan. 19

At 2:44 a.m. police responded to the 800 block of N. Union for a report of a subject trying to break into a residence. Extra patrol was assigned.

At 5:04 a.m. police responded to Elevate RX, 413 wes Grand for a report of a glass break alarm. A report was made.

At 7:45 a.m. police took a vandalism report at Express Urgent Care.

At 7:48 a.m. police took a report at Homeland on a deal who attempted to shoplift.

At 9:12 a.m. police took a report on possible child abuse at West Middle School.

At 9:29 a.m. police responded to a report of an assault at Complete Vision Care, 521 east Hartford. A patient reported her son assaulted her and stole her phone. The juvenile was arrested and later released with out charges.

At 10:02 a.m. police responded to Stuteville Ford for a report of a a customer who hit a vehicle. Options were given.

At 10:49 a.m. police cited a juvenile for possession of marijuana and a vaporizer at West Middle School.

At 1:01 p.m. police took a report on a man with a weapon in the 700 block of S. 5th Street. The reporting party reported two cars stopped in front of a residence and one subject pulled a gun on the other. A repot was made.

At 1:05 p.m. police took a report on a two-vehicle accidental Hartford and Union.

At 3:25 p.m. police responded to a report of a juvenile assaulted by another in the 300 block of S. Sunset. The parents agreed to pay for a jacket that was ripped.

At 5:17 p.m. police responded to a report of a hit and run at 14th and Hartford. The suspect vehicle, a green sedan left the city. OHP and KSO was advised.

At 7:16 p.m. police did a welfare check on a subject who had not been seen in four days. The subject was fine and asked to be left alone. A report was made.

At 10:12 p.m. police responded to the Triple T on the 200 block of west Hartford for a report of counterfeit $100 bill passed by a male subject who left on foot.

Jan. 19

At 1:33 a.m. PCPD requested a deputy meet an officer at Braum’s in Ponca City and pick up a subject who had been released from the hospital with breathing problems. The male subject was trying to walk to Newkirk. KSO advised there was only one deputy available. 

At 7:41 a.m. police received a report of a 2020 white GMC Terrain that was stolen. A deputy made contact with a female who advised the vehicle was in Shidler. An Osage County deputy was notified and who then confirmed the vehicle was in Shidler.

At 8:14 a.m. Blackwell police advised they were at the scene of a two-vehicle accident at S. 60th Street and west Doolin Ave. A medical chopper responded to the scene from Hays, Kansas.

At 4:29 p.m. a member of the District Attorney’s Task Forced advised he was in Stillwater with Josephe Howe,18, in custody.

At 7:57 p.m. a deputy arrested Jeffrey Seward in Newkirk.

At 9:28 p.m. Blackwell police confirmed warrants on Dakota Miner.

At 11:42 p.m. Hominy police confirmed warrants on Kyle McConnell.
