Warrant issued for subject accused of sexually assaulting hotel worker

NEWKIRK — A warrant is issued for Cesar Hernandez, 42, Wichita, Kan. by the Kay County District Court.

Hernandez is wanted on a felony charge of sexual battery after a felony conviction.

Ponca City police report Hernandez is accused of sexually assaulting a female working at a Ponca City hotel on Sept. 29.

The alleged victim  reports Hernandez grabbed her and kissed her. Police made contact with Hernandez. He reportedly admitted to kissing the woman as a thank you for fixing the hotel door key.

He reportedly told police he should apologize.

Hernandez has no prior criminal record in Kay County.

Bond is endorsed at $7,500.
