Murder suspect in Fairfax case enters not guilty pleaSeptember 28, 2020 | Courts
PAWHUSKA — Murder suspect Zachary Keith Pace, 24, has entered a not guilty plea in Osage County District Court to a charge of first degree murder, deliberate intent.
Pace and Megan Nicole Ball, 33 were arrested in Cherokee County on July 18, 2019 in connection to the death of 60-year-old Fairfax resident, Heather Neuman.
Police report Neuman was found dead at her Fairfax home. (see story)
Pace is being held in the Osage County Jail on $2 million bond.
A jury trial has been requested. A pre-trial is set for Jan. 20.
Ball is facing a felony charge of accessory to murder. On Sept. 16 she waived her right to a preliminary hearing. Arraignment is set for Jan. 15.
