UPDATE: Police release mug shot of murder suspect

PONCA CITY — Ponca City police have released the mug shot of accused murderer Jerry Harris.

PONCA CITY — Ponca City police are investigating a homicide that reportedly occurred at 12:49 p.m. today at 508 west Liberty.

Ponca City police Capt. Randy Tyner reports officers and paramedics responded to a  report of a domestic.

Linda Kathleen Jones, 55, was transported to Alliance Health Ponca City where she was pronounced dead.

Tyner said Jerry L. Harris, 66, was arrested on a first degree homicide charge.

Investigators from the Ponca City Police Department and the Oklahoma Medical Examiners are investigating.
