NEWKIRK — A warrant is issued for Travis Patrick Grimm, 48, Ponca City, who is charged with a felony count of cruelty to animals and a misdemeanor charge of harassing and threatning by electronic communications.

The charges were filed on May 14.

Kay County deputy Lewain Learned reports that he responded to a report of animal neglect. Learned reports two subjects showed him two dogs, Pointers, that had been left in a small metal cage with out food or water for three days. The female claims Grimm has been threatening her over the phone.

Grimm reportedly may be hiding in Osage County. Anyone with information on Grimm’s location is urged to call law enforcement.
