PONCA CITY — The City of Ponca City is taking more steps to slow the spread of COVID-19:
These include closing all City of Ponca City playground equipment, exercise equipment, volleyball courts, and bathrooms located in city parks, at Lake Ponca, and at the Marland Estate until April 30. The parks will remain open for public use, however users are encouraged to practice social distancing.
The April 22 “Earth Day” event is cancelled.
As of today Kay County has 24 confirmed cases of COVID-19. (see update)
