Warrant issued for convicted vandal

NEWKIRK — A failure to appear warrant is issued for Peter Campos, 26, Ponca City.

Campos failed to appear for a compliance docket this week and a warrant is issued with bond endorsed at $2,500.

Campos was arrested on June 8 and accused of vandalizing many businesses located on 14th Street. (see story)

He later plead no contest to the charges and was ordered to write apology letters, pay restitution and serve six months of a 10 year-sentence. (see story)

Anyone with information on Campos’ location is asked to contact police.
