Webb, a 2016 NOC graduate, was originally from Moore.  He was awarded the NOC Jared Weiberg Endowed Scholarship for the 2014-15 academic year.

“Chelvin was one of the hardest working players I’ve ever coached,” said coach Donnie Jackson.  “He was an even better young man. Please keep Chelvin and his family in your prayers.”

“The NOC family is saddened by the tragic loss of Chelvin Webb who made a valuable difference during his years at Northern,” said NOC President Dr. Cheryl Evans.  “My prayers are with all those who loved him.”

After graduating from NOC, Webb played at Manhattan Christian College in Manhattan, Kan., where he was currently residing.
