January 12, 2021 | Headlines

PONCA CITY  — Ponca City Senior High School will transition to Distance Learning on Wednesday, Jan. 13 through Friday, Jan. 22.

Students will return to in person classes on Jan. 25.

Officials report that because of COVID-19, there is not enough staff to effectively and safely supervise the campus to provide in-person instruction.

Scheduled activities will continue as long as the activity group is not in quarantine.

Staff, who are not in isolation or quarantine, will report to the site for delivery of distance learning. Hot meals will be provided to children ages 1-18 from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the 5th Street entrance to PO-HI.

Please continue reporting any PO-HI student who tests positive for COVID-19 by calling the high school attendance office or a principal.
