PCPD will assist in future vaccines clinics at Unity

PONCA CITY — The Kay County Health Department will be administering the COVID-19 vaccine by appointment only to those 65 and older at the Unity Gym, 1908 Woodland Road on Tuesdays and Thursdays as supplies allows.

The City of Ponca City, and the Ponca City Police Department are assisting the Health Department with logistics and safety. The configuration of the flow of people into and out of the gym has now been set up to avoid lining up outside. 

Those with appointments are asked to arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before their appointment time, as no one will be in allowed into the gym more than 15 minutes before their appointment.

Please complete the necessary paperwork/forms prior to entering the gym. Officers and volunteers will have forms on site to hand out to citizens in their cars. Masks are required.

* those with underlying health conditions who are under 65 are not included in this week’s vaccination clinics.
