COVID-19 cancels county assessor’s on the road visits
January 7, 2021 | Featured|HeadlinesNEWKIRK — The Kay County Assessor’s office will not being going on the road this year to visit with tax payers because of COVID-19.
In the past, staff members have set up shop across Kay County in libraries and other locations to discuss exemptions. This year residents are asked to contact the office at 580-362-2565 with questions. The deadline for filing exemption applications is March 15.
Different types of exemptions include the following:

Verification of the previous year’s income must be provided to the Assessor’s office by the applicant. All applications and assessments will be accepted in the Kay County Assessor’s office.
