Minnesota man killed in crash in Beaver County

BRYANS CORNER — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports that a Minnesota resident was killed in a three-vehicle accident that occurred at 6:33 p.m. on Nov. 24 on U.S. 83 and EW33 south of Bryan’s Corner in Beaver County.

Troopers report that Timothy Davis, 70, Redwood Falls, Minn., was traveling southbound on U.S. 83 in a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado, when he crossed the center line and side-swiped a northbound 2013 Kenworth driven by Steven Prock, 40, Grand Saline, Texas. Davis’ vehicle continued southbound striking a northbound 2012 Peterbilt, driven by Tina Pruett, 52, Oklahoma City, head on.

Troopers report Davis was pronounced dead at the scene and transported to Clark’s Funeral Home in Beaver County.

Prock was not injured.

Pruett was transported by Perryton EMS to Ochiltree General Hospital in Perryton, Texas where she was admitted in stable condition with trunk internal, arm and leg injuries. Her passenger, a 10-year-old juvenile male of Ardmore, was admitted in stable condition with trunk internal injuries.

Troopers cite the cause of the accident as left of center and note that the weather was snow and sleet and the roadway wet.
