Three injured in accident near Guymon

GUYMON — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol report that a personal injury collision occurred at 6:45 p.m. Nov. 18 on County Road Y at the intersection of County Road Mile 29 southwest of Guymon in Texas County.

Troopers report Susan Moore, 66, Guymon was traveling north on County Road Mile 29 in a 2010 Kia and that Tessa Klaus, 41, Borger, Texas was traveling west on County Road Y in a 2009 Dodge Ram.

Troopers report that Moore failed to yield to the right at an uncontrolled intersection, hit the Dodge Ram on the driver’s side and caught fire. Klaus’ vehicle rolled one time coming to rest on its wheels.

Moore was transported to Guymon Hospital and later airlifted to Via Christi Hospital in Wichita, Kan. where she was admitted in stable condition for leg, trunk internal and external injuries.

Klaus was transported via ambulance to Guymon Airport where she was airlifted to UMC in Lubbock, Texas and admitted in stable condition with trunk external and internal injuries.

Natalie Haynes, 38, Borger, Texas, a passenger in the Klaus’ vehicle, was transported to Guymon NW Texas Hospital in Amarillo, Texas where she was admitted in stable condition with trunk external and internal injuries.
