Failure to appear warrant issued for accused drug dealer

NEWKIRK — A warrant is issued for Marion Douglas January III, by the Kay County District Court. January is facing felony counts of distribute CDS within 2,000 feet of a park or school, maintaining place for keeping selling CDS, use of surveillance device while in commission of a felony, conspiracy to deliver a CDS and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

District Attorney Task Force agents report they received a tip on Feb. 26 in reference to drug activity. Agents applied for and received a no knock warrant for the residence in the 500 block of N. 10th Street. Law enforcement executed the warrant at 10:50 p.m. that night. Upon entry, law enforcement encountered January and four others.

Agents report speaking to January. He reportedly admitted to police that he was selling and using meth. Agents report finding drugs, scales and other paraphernalia at the residence. January failed to appear for a court date on Oct. 23 and a warrant is issued with bond endorsed at $20,000.

Marie Christina Cadle, 39, Ponca City, who is charged with felony counts of distribute CDS within 2,000 feet of a park or school, maintaining place for keeping selling CDS, use of surveillance device while in commission of a felony, conspiracy to deliver a CDS and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. She is scheduled for an attorney status review on Nov. 20.

Devin Taylor Cadle, 21, Ponca City, is facing charges of distribute CDS within 2,000 feet of a park or school, maintaining place for keeping selling CDS, use of surveillance device while in commission of a felony, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. He is scheduled for an attorney status review on Dec. 18.
