Tulsa man killed in accident near Braman

BRAMAN — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports that a Tulsa resident was killed in a collision that occurred today at 12:46 a.m. in the southbound lanes of Interstate 35 near the Braman exit at mile marker 230.

Troopers report that Brian Bedingfield, 53, Tulsa, was driving a 2017 Ford F-150 and Sherman Cobble, 45, Kellyville, was driving a 2016 Peterbilt tractor when the collision occurred.

Beddingfield was pronounced dead at the scene by Blackwell first responders. His body was transported by the Medical Examiner to the M.E.’s office in Oklahoma City.

Troopers are still invesigating what happened and what the cause of the accident is.
