The following information is provided by Ponca City police. 

Sept. 25

At 1:53 a.m. police took a report on a drug violation during a traffic stop at 4th and Highland.

At 7:21 a.m. police took a report on a two-vehicle accident in front of Chapman Shoes.

At 8 a.m. police took a report on theft of tools and a broken window at Pecan Place Apartments

At 9:36 a.m police responded to the 400 block of S. 4th Street for a report of a suspicious person. Officers found the mailman.

At 1:16 p.m. police issued a trespass warning to a subject reportedly harassing an employee of Streeter Real Estate.

At 4:08 p.m. police responded to a two-vehicle accident at Second and Highland. (see photo) 

At 4:52 p.m. police took a report on a hit and run at Ground Round. The suspect vehicle is described as a white Honda Pilot with front end damage.

At 7:50 p.m. police responded to Ground Round for a report of 10 people fighting inside the restaurant. The problem half left before police arrived.

At 8:59 p.m. police arrested Michael Yahola in the 400 block of S. Palm.

Sept. 26

At 4:26 a.m. police took a report on a robbery. A female said someone held a gun to her head and stole her cell phone in the 300 block of N. Peach tree.

At 8:25 a.m. police arrested Brandon Butler at Casey’s after responding to a report of a subject passed out in a vehicle.

At 9:27 a.m. police took  report on theft of marijuana plants in the 300 block of S. Oak.

At 4:28 p.m. police took a report on stolen medication.

At 5:50 p.m. police and fire responded to Copperridge Apartments for a fire in the laundry room. A report was made as a juvenile reportedly set the fire.

At 6:45 p.m. police arrested Geneva Bush at Walmart on a burglary charge.

At 7:19 p.m. police arrested a subject in the 400 block of N. Oak on warrants.

At 10:56 p.m. police responded to Wendy’s for a report of subjects fighting in the parking lot. A report was made.

Sept. 27

At 3:19 a.m. police responded to a report of a Mountain Lion in the creek near Highland and Irving. Nothing was found.

At 5:19 a.m. extra patrol was requested for a report of someone trying to steal vehicles in the 700 block of N. Sunset.

At 6:03 a.m. police responded to Daylight Donuts for a report of a subject who tried to steal the tip jar. A trespass warning was issued.

At 3:31 p.m. police took a vandalism report at Albright United Method Church.

At 9:08 p.m. police responded to Los Portables for a report of a an intoxicated subject with a juvenile. The caller reported the subject was posting photos of drinking while with the juvenile. A report was made.

Sept. 28

At 1:48 a.m. police took a report in the 500 block of Foster on windows that was broken presumedly by prowler.

At 9:03 a.m. police took  a report on a hit and run accident at Osage and Summit.

At 11:18 a.m. police took a report on a vehicle burglary in the 900 block of east Broadway.

At 11:31 a.m. police took a report on a hit and run in the 2200 block of John Street.

At 2:17 p.m. police took a report on a two-vehicle accident at Ponca and Perry. No injuries were reported.

At 2:45 p.m. police took a report at East Middle School on harassment.

At 3:45 p.m. police responded to a report of a West Middle School student who was dropped off by a bus at East Middle School. The child was found on south Oak walking home.

At 5:50 p.m. police arrested Toni Soutter in the 800 block of North Palm. (see story)

At 6:11 p.m. police took a report in the 1000 block of N. Elm on vehicle vandalism.

At 6:41 p.m. police arrested Sophia Warrior, 26, for domestic assault in the 200 block of S. Franklin.

At 7:22 p.m. police and an ambulance responded to a report of a subject who drank radiator fluid by accident.

At 9:02 p.m. police responded to a two-vehicle accident at Grand and Waverly. One subject fled on foot. A report was made.

At 9:26 p.m. police arrested Garland Pappan, 51, on warrants in the 300 block of S. Birch.

At 11:18 p.m. police arrested David Robb, 42, on warrants in the 400 block of Redbird.

Sept. 29

At 8:42 a.m. police took multiple burglary reports at Fort Knox Storage.

At 9:39 a.m. police took a child abuse report.

At 10:34 a.m. police issued a vape citation at East Middle School.

At 10:40 a.m. police took a report on an accident at the intersection of 14th and Prospect.

At 11:16 a.m. police responded to Homeland for a report of a disturbance. A female was yelling at a woman and her daughter making it difficult for the pair to enter the store.

At 11:17 a.m. police took a report on stolen items in the 900 block of S. 13th Street.

At 5:38 p.m. police took a report in the 1200 block of S. 9th Street on stolen tools.

At 6:19 p.m. police took a report on a female assaulted by an offspring. the victim was taken to the ER.

At 9:16 p.m. police took a report on an assault at Ashley Inn.
