Subject pulled from Sooner Lake

SOONER LAKE — A male subject was pulled from Sooner Lake today around 6 p.m. 

According to scanner traffic, the subject was rescued from the lake by a Wildlife Department agent and had sustained chemical burns.

Ambulances from Ponca City and Pawnee responded.



Medical choppers were contacted, but two were an hour away and a third one was not available. The subject was transported to Stillwater Medical Center by Ponca City ambulance. No other information is available at this time.
