Subject assaulted with chicken nuggets
The following information is provided by Blackwell police.
Blackwell fire responded to a report of a structure fire at 8 a.m. in the 200 block of west Florence. No other details were provided.
At 4 p.m. police took a report on a vehicle that was broken into. Someone attempted to cash checks at RCB Bank that were reported missing from the vehicle.
At 5:59 p.m. police responded to a report of a verbal altercation at the Super 8.
At 9:18 pm. police took a burglary report in the 600 block of west College.
At 1:30 p.m. police responded to the 800 block of east Padon after a resident complained about his neighbor whistling at his dog. The whistler said he would try not to whistle so loud.
At 11:47 p.m. police responded to a report of shots fired in the 200 block of S. C Street. A report was made.
At 3:24 p.m. police assisted deputies with executing a search warrant on east Chrysler.
At 2:24 a.m. a resident reported a brick was thrown through a window. The call was transferred to Osage County.
At 2:59 p.m. police arrested Cody Lovell on city warrants at 315 west Blackwell.
At 4:32 p.m. police responded to McDonald’s for a report of a subject assaulted with chicken nuggets. Officers helped resolve the issue.
At 5:47 p.m. police took a report on a domestic in the 700 block of east Lincoln.
At 11:11 p.m. OHP advised of a pursuit on Interstate 35 near mile marker 201. Deputies and Tonkawa police responded. Two were arrested.

At 10:27 a.m. police arrested Caleb O’Dell on a Kay County Warrant at Blackwell High School.
At 11:56 a.m. police took a report on larceny of medication at Hillcrest Manor.
At 3:43 p.m. Blackwell first responders responded to a three-vehicle accident at the intersection of 9th and Doolin.
At 11:43 p.m. police arrested Jesus Lopez-Cerillo for DUI at Second and Kansas.
Police assisted a trooper with a traffic stop on Interstate 35 near mile marker 221.
At 3:43 a.m. a resident reported someone rang the door bell and ran in the 100 block of N. D Street. Nothing was found.
