KSO logs Aug. 26-29September 10, 2020 | Police
The following information is provided by the Kay County Sheriff’s Department.
At 8:19 a.m. KSO received a report of a tractor and bailer stolen. The caller reported the items were now sitting near Main and Doolin in Blackwell. The items were recovered.
At 10:26 a.m. a resident in the 7000 block of east Tower Road reported someone broke into the home and killed the dog. A report was made and a larceny report was made.
At 5:38 p.m. a deputy assisted PCPD as they arrested Kassandra Anderson in the 300 block of N. Pine. (see related story)
At 8:17 p.m. a deputy arrested a subject at the intersection of Ponca and Birch.
At 8:48 p.m. a deputy arrested a subject north west of Q Street.
At 10:32 p.m. a member of DHS requested a deputy for a standby concerning a child abuse report. A subject and child were taken to the ER.
At 5:35 p.m. a deputy arrested Dorothy Bushyhead at the intersection of 9th and Magnolia in Newkirk on warrants.
At 2 p.m. Tonkawa police received a request for a welfare check on a female who had not been seen by anyone in a week. A deputy responded and the female was found deceased. The Medical Examiner responded.
At 3:03 a.m. Newkirk police arrested a subject on a warrant.
At 6:53 p.m. a deputy arrested a subject at the intersection of Brake Road and 77.
At 10:18 p.m. a caller advised a two trucks ran her off the road and she was now following them. The caller said the trucks were all over the road. The trucks reportedly stopped near Ody’s PCPD and OHP responded. One of the drivers agreed to pay for repairs to the caller’s vehicle.
At 1:04 a.m. a caller advised of a domestic in progress in the 100 block of Magnolia in Newkirk. A male subject reportedly broke out a window. The male was arrested.
At 1:44 a.m. Tonkawa police requested assistance from deputies in regards to Clark Edward Martin, 32, had barricaded himself in a home in the 1000 block of N. 5th Street. Deputies responded. At 3:21 a.m. Clark was arrested on warrants. He was booked in the county jail on $4,300 bond.
At 12:21 p.m. a caller reported someone released a horse on his property on Fork Road. A deputy took the horse to the Blackwell Sale Barn.
At 1:30 p.m. a caller advise that a male subject was harassing her family and saying he was going to drop a bomb on them. Newkirk police handled.
At 5:03 p.m. a caller advised her granddaughter took her keys and locked her out of the house and assaulted her and sprayed her with wasp spray. a deputy arrested the juvenile and DHS was contacted.
At 6:29 p.m. deputies responded to the 1400 block of east South Ave and took a report on property damage.
At 6:37 p.m. KSO received a report of someone shooting guns into the pond at the entrance of the Tonkawa-Blackwell Airport. The subject was moved on.
At 7:42 p.m. a deputy took a vandalism report in the 1100 block of east Dry Road.
