Arrest made in burglary case; One suspect still on the lam

NEWKIRK — An initial appearance is scheduled on July 2 for Bradley Wayne Green, 36, Rusk, Texas in Kay County District Court.

Green is facing felony charges of second degree burglary and conspiracy.

Ponca City police report that on April 26 officers took a report on a residential burglary. The victim told police that Green allegedly admitted in a text that he and Timothy Ray Brown Jr., 35, Ponca City, broke into the home.

Sgt. Matt Biddinger spoke to Green on May 12. Green reportedly told Biddinger that the pair used a knife to break in through the back door. He reportedly told police they took a sound bar, cologne and a Playstation. Green told Biddinger that Brown also hit and broke a television while the pair were in the home. Green is being held on $5,000 bond.

A warrant is issued for Brown with bond endorsed at $10,000. He is charged with felony county of conspiracy and second degree burglary. His criminal background includes assault and burglary charges. Anyone with information on Brown’s location is asked to call law enforcement.
