Another case of COVID-19 confirmed in Ponca City

OKLAHOMA CITY — The Oklahoma State Department of Health reports 6,418 confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in Oklahoma, an increase of 80 from Friday. 

The total number of cases reported in Ponca City is 52. Blackwell, two, Kaw City, one and Newkirk, one. Three of the Ponca City cases are in Osage County which is why the Kay County total is not 56 but instead 53.

The death toll across the state is 334 which includes seven Kay County deaths. Five in Ponca City and one each in Newkirk and Kaw City. Eight people in Osage County have died.  

OSDH reports 44 people in Kay County have recovered.

Osage County’s confirmed case count is now 95. Grant County has two reported cases and Noble County, seven.

Ponca Nursing reported their second case of COVID-19  in May. 

Cowley County has reported four cases.
