NEWKIRK — A warrant is issued for Bryan Eugene Hiser, 41, Ponca City, by the Kay County District Court.

Hiser is charged with a felony count of first degree rape. Ponca City police Sgt. Paul Qualls reports that on April 13, 2018, he was notified of a possible child sexual abuse victim. Officers report the alleged victim had bruises on her arm consistent with being grabbed. PCPD Cpl. Tristan Fitzsimmons made contact with Hiser who denied the allegations.

On Feb. 12, 2019, Hiser was interviewed by Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation agent Michael Dean and PCPD Sgt. Brian Dye in reference to another case. Investigators report that Hiser admitted to an incident involving the teen that had not been reported.

The rape charge was filed on May 22 and the warrant with bond endorsed at $5,000 is issued.
