The following information is provided by Ponca City police. 

May 11

At 10:23 a.m. police took a fraud report.

At 12:21 p.m. police took an accident report.

At 12:41 p.m. police took a vandalism report in the 500 block of S. Lincoln.

At 1:05 p.m.  police arrested Jonathan Martinez, 26, in the 500 block of S. Washington.

May 12

Police took a theft report in the 2100 block of N. 14th Street at 8:20 a.m.

At 11:57 p.m. police took a report on a diesel mixture found on the ground in the 1100 block of east Prospect.

At 1:06 p.m. police took a report in the 800 block of N. Elm on a back door kicked in.

At 1:19 p.m. police took an accident report in the 300 block of east Detroit.

On May 13 at 2:31 a.m. Ponca City police and Kay County deputies responded to Alliance Health for a report of a 56-year-male patient pointing a handgun at medical staff. A nurse reportedly told police that the male subject was on the second floor Med Surge Unit walking the halls with a walker. Multiple patients were in reportedly in rooms and many nurses were locked in a bathroom.According to law enforcement records,  Robert William Ables, 56, Ponca City, was arrested and booked in the county jail and held on a $100,000 bond. On May 14, Judge David Wilkie granted Ables a medical bond and he was released. On May 21 Ables was charged in Kay County District Court with three felony counts of feloniously pointing a firearm and scheduled for a status docket on Aug. 21.

May 13

At 8:02 a.m. police received a BOLO from Noble County on a missing subject. The subject was later located in Utah. (see story)

At 9:26 a.m. police took a report on a stolen utility trailer in the 900 block of N. Ash.

At 10:25 a.m. police took two unemployment fraud reports.

At 1:09 p.m. police responded to Alliance Health for a report of a baby who tested positive for meth. A warrant request was made.

At 6:40 p.m. police arrested Samantha Allen, 23, for resisting arrest in the 200 block of S. Lake.

At 8:28 p.m. police arrested David Stolhand, 22, for domestic assault in the 800 block of N. Lake.

At 8:28 p.m. police took a report on a sandwich stolen from the Valero in the 300 block of west Grand.

At 10:43 p.m. police arrested Alvina Byrd, at the intersection of Ponca and Palm.
