PCPS celebrating Po-Hi Class of 2020

PONCA CITY —  Ponca City Public Schools in conjunction with Heather Cannon Honda and other sponsors, are inviting the community to celebrate the Ponca City High School Class of  2020 on Friday, May 8.

Activities planned include Friday Night Lights, in which the lights at the Ponca City High School Baseball Field on 5th Street, Ponca City High School Softball Field and soccer practice field, both located at West Middle School, and Sullins Stadium will be shining to honor the students.

A video will be played from 8-10 p.m. in the student parking lot on 7th Street. Those attending are asked to remain in their cars to view the banners and video in order to abide by State Department of Education regulations for public schools. Senior parents may collect the banners as a senior keepsake on Saturday, May 9 at 10 a.m.  All unclaimed banners will be stored in the Ponca City Public Schools Concert Hall until delivery arrangements can be made.  

Workers are displaying banner portraits of the Class o f 2020 along 5th Street by the Hutchins Walking Trail.
