HOMINY — A Hominy resident was killed today in a motorcycle accident that occurred at 3:39 p.m. on Oklahoma 20 near Hominy.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports that Bryan Goad, 52, was traveling westbound on Oklahoma 20 near County Road 1625 on a 1997 Harley Davidson, when for unknown reasons he departed the roadway to the right.
Troopers report the motorcycle traveled 265 feet before impacting a small tree. The motorcycle then traveled an additional 30 feet before impacting a large tree separating Goad from the motorcycle. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers report the cause of the collision is under investigation.
