ARKANSAS CITY, KAN. — Shidler resident Cameron Jacob Enox, 35, was arrested by Arkansas City Police on Saturday following a pursuit.

ACPD reports officers were searching for a white 1994 Dodge Ram 2500 that was reported stolen from the 500 block of B Street.

The owners of the vehicle reportedly told officers that they saw the suspect, later identified as Enox, traveling southbound in the pickup on south B Street.

Cowley County dispatchers later received numerous calls regarding a reckless driver northbound on Eighth Street in a vehicle that matched the description of the stolen truck.

Witnesses reportedly followed the vehicle to the 2400 block Timberlane Estates neighborhood where Enox reportedly wrecked and fled on foot. Officers arrived and were directed toward the area where Enox fled. He was arrested in the 2200 block of Timberlane Drive following a foot chase.

Enox was booked in the Cowley County Jail in Winfield on complaints of suspicion of felony theft and misdemeanor counts of driving with a suspended driver’s license and reckleses driving. Bond was set at $5,000.
