BARTLESVILLE — Four people are now in custody in connection to the beating death of 41-year-old Charlie Lee Bethel.
Austin Tyler Prater, 28, Bartlesville, Amber Michelle Hall, 33, Pawhuska, and Omar Vicente Marano Jr., 42, Bartlesville, are facing felony charges of first degree murder and conspiracy. Prater and Hall are being held in the Washington County Jail on $250,000 bond. Bond for Marano is set at $500,000.
Cynthia Lucile Fish, 39, Barnsdall, is being held on probable cause and bond is set at $250,000.
Authorities report Bethel was beat with a baseball bat in Bartlesville late Monday night (March 16) or early Tuesday morning.
Osage County Sheriff Eddie Virden said Bethel was found deceased by his roommate. (see story) According to Osage County booking reports, Bethel had been released from the Osage County Jail at 12:57 p.m. March 16 after being booked in on March 4.
Hall, Marano Jr., and Fish were arrested soon after the crime. (see story) Prater was the last to be arrested by Bartlesville police.
Investigators believe Bethel was driven to Bartlesville residence by his roommate to meet Hall. (see story)
Court dates for the four are set for March 27.
