KSO logs March 10-12

The following information is provided by the Kay County Sheriff’s Department.

March 10

At 11:16 a.m. KSO received a report of an utility worker in a red pickup attempting to lure a resident’s dog to his truck on Tower Road. He reportedly had already hit another dog. A deputy responded.

March 11

At 12:21 a.m. a deputy responded to 1609 Hathaway to help secure a shooting scene. (see story)

At 11:57 a.m. deputies responded to the Value Inn in Ponca City for a report of a deceased person found in a room.

At 12:23 p.m. deputies responded to west Bender Road for a repot of an abandoned vehicle. Two people associated with the vehicle were detained. Gary Vickery, 35, was arrested on a warrant.

At 7:24 p.m. deputies responded to First Council Casino for a report of a banned subject on the property. Lydell Loins was arrested. (see story)

At 9:32 p.m. deputies responded to Highway 60 and R Street for traffic control for smoke from a fire.

March 12

At 9:03 a.m. KSO received a report of a four horses and a potbelly pigeon Judo Road between R Street and S Street. A deputy attempted to make contact with an owner.

At 5:05 p.m. Osage County Sheriff’s Department contacted KSO about a stolen 1999 Dodge feed truck.

At 11:33 p.m. deputies responded to Prentice Road between Bender and Fork Roads for a report of a fire. (see story)
