Kay County now has three confirmed COVID-19 cases

OKLAHOMA CITY — The Oklahoma State Department of Health has confirmed a third case of COVID-19 in Kay County.

This week it was reported that a former resident of Ponca City Nursing and Rehab Center tested positive for the virus.

The Oklahoman reported that the resident was discharged from the facility to a local hospital and is not expected to return to the facility. (see story)

On Thursday night KFOR-TV- featured a 69-year-old Ponca City resident who is suffering with COVID-19. (see story)

OSDH now reports 49 cases in the state.
