Animal cruelty suspect arrested
February 23, 2020 | CourtsNEWKIRK — Timothy Michael Hall, 30, Ponca City, turned himself in this week on a felony charge of cruelty to animals.
The charge was filed over a year ago after Ponca City police responded to a report of a male subject punching a dog in the face at least 15 times. (see story)
Hall reportedly told police he punched the dog because it chewed up his Bible. Hall is scheduled for an initial appearance in Kay County District Court on Feb. 28 and is free on $2,500 bond.
