Blackwell police logs Feb. 4-9

The following information is provided by Blackwell police.

Feb. 4

At 3:30 p.m. Blackwell Animal Control picked up two piglets that were reportedly dumped near the Interstate 35 southbound ramp at mile marker 231.

Feb. 5

At 9:03 a.m. police responded to Blackwell Middle School for a report of a disgruntled parent.

Feb. 6

At 4:23 p.m. police arrested Curtis Stephens on a Washington County warrant.

At 9:40 p.m. four officers responded to the 1000 block of S. 10th Street for a report of someone wanting to speak to an officer. A report was taken and no other information was logged.

Feb. 7

At 2:09 a.m. Police responded to an alarm at Dollar General. Officers discovered the front window was broken. A report was taken and video evidence collected.

Feb. 8

At 11:28 p.m. police responded to a report of a hit and run in the 1900 block of Meadow Lane. 

Feb. 9

At 4:09 a.m. police arrested Keri McClung on charges of maintaining a dwelling where drugs are kept and or sold; Cultivation, possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia. At 4:19 a.m. Kevin McClung was arrested on charges of possession of a CDS within 2,000 feet of a park, possession of drug paraphernalia and child endangerment. At 4:21 a.m. Neal McMartin was arrested for possession of a CDS within 2000 feet of a park and child endangerment. Homer Parker was arrested possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled dangerous substance within 2000, feet of a park and child endangerment.

At 1:15 p.m. responded to a report of vandalism at the Splash N Dash carwash. A screen was busted on an automatic car wash.
