PONCA CITY — Candice Rhodd, the aunt of homicide victim, Shon Matthew Delodge, says that Ponca City Police told her around 6:30 p.m. that 22-year-old Triston Anthony Nataya Pappan, Ponca City, was arrested at a residence in the 700 block of N. Pine around 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

Delodge was shot in the 1200 block of N. Oak on Jan. 23 and later died. (see story)

Capt. Randy Tyner confirmed that Pappan was arrested on a complaint of Accessory to First Degree Murder

Rhodd said earlier police detectives visited with family members and informed them they had issued warrants for Pappan and second suspect.

Rhodd said she posted that information on Facebook and started receiving tips, which she passed on to police.

“I’m very relieved he is off the streets and not able to harm anyone else. My family is dealing with the hurt and pain he caused and we are pushing for justice all the way.” Tyner said the investigation is ongoing.
