Warrant issued for convicted arsonist

NEWKIRK — A bench warrant is issued for Laquez Antonio Lancaster, 27, Ponca City, by the Kay County District Court.

In October, Lancaster was convicted of a felony charge of first degree arson and a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery filed on June 20. (see story)

He was given a 10 -year suspended prison sentence and fined.

On Jan. 9 he failed to pay as ordered and a bench warrant is issued with bond endorsed at $1,000.
