NEWKIRK — Allek Zander Ford, 25, Oklahoma City, entered a no contest plea in Kay County District Court to felony charges of second degree burglary, possession of firearms after conviction or during probation, conspiracy and a misdemeanor charge of possession of a CDS.
He was sentenced to seven years in prison with all but 30 days in the county jail suspended on the burglary charge and given a 10 year prison sentence with 30 days in the county jail on the firearm and conspiracy charges. He received a one year suspended in the county jail for the misdemeanor charge.
Ford and Kirsten Denise Ditata, 30, Newcastle, were arrested by Ponca City police on June 20 after a woman called police and reported finding a man sleeping in the recliner of her mother-in-law’s home in the 1200 block of Brentwood. (see story)
Ditata later entered a no contest plea to her charges and received a prison sentence. (see story) She is incarcerated at Mabel Bassett Correctional Center in McCloud. Ford is also ordered to pay $6,490 in restitution.
