Teen enters no contest plea to rape charge

NEWKIRK — Jordan Ian John Parker, 18, appeared in Kay County District Court today with his attorney Jack Shears, and entered a no contest plea to a charge of second degree rape.

The charges were filed on March 20. Ponca City police report Parker is accused of having sex with a 14-year-old in a bathroom located in Robson Fieldhouse. (see story)

Judge Lee Turner delayed sentencing pending the completion of a specialized program. A review of the matter is scheduled for March 16.
