NEWKIRK — The murder trial scheduled this week for Waylon Dehaven Rhodd, 24, is now set for Feb. 25.
Rhodd is facing a felony charge of murder in the first degree, deliberate intent or in the alternative, murder in the first degree unlawful distribution of a CDS, or in the alternative, Murder in the second degree feloniously pointing a firearm, and a felony count of possession of a firearm.
He is accused of killing 39-year-old Jesse Len Trimble. (see story) Catherine Leanne Rhodd, 31, was also arrested and charged in the case. She is convicted of accessory after the fact to murder in the first degree. (see story) Chase Lamar Warrior, 19, is also charged with accessory to murder and is set for a court date on Nov. 4.
