NEWKIRK — A warrant is issued for Kassandra “Pippie” Mary-Jean Anderson, 22, Kaw City with bond endorsed at $10,000.
Anderson was charged on April 3 with a felony count of unauthorized use of a vehicle. According to the Oklahoma District Court Network, she has yet to be arrested on the charge.
Ponca City police report Anderson is accused of borrowing a vehicle and not bringing it back to the owner. The owner reportedly told police that Anderson borrowed the 2016 Nissan on Feb. 9. She later told the owner via message that she was out of gas at the Kansas Star Casino in Mulvane, Kan. The owner told police she drove to the casino and did not find the vehicle or Anderson.
Anderson’s criminal record includes a felony meth charge and a misdemeanor charge of loiter or injuring a motor vehicle filed on Sept. 4, 2015. On April 7, 2016, she was charged with a felony county unauthorized use of a vehicle and a misdemeanor charge of eluding police. On Jan. 23, 2017, she plead no contest to the charges and sentencing was deferred for five years.
On April 3, 2019, when the new case was filed, an amended application to accelerate the deferred judgements was filed. Anderson failed to appear for a court date on May 13 and a bench warrant was issued in those cases with bond endorsed at $5,000. Anyone with information on Anderson’s location is asked to call law enforcement.
