In the affidavit, police report Washington told officers that he was with his cousin at 1016 N. Osage, when Zazueta and another man arrived.

Zazueta reportedly asked Washington to leave and when Washington, “stood his ground,” Zazueta reportedly shot him in the stomach with a shotgun.

Witness Shannon McDaniel, who lives at the residence, reportedly told police that she was sleeping when a loud bang woke her up. She told police that Zazueta then came into her room and and placed a shotgun in a duffle bag and said he needed to leave.

PCPD conducted a search warrant at the residence and report collecting blood splatter off the north wall behind the couch. Bond for Zazueta is set at $1 million.
